After accompanying with many cities and provinces such as Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Lieu, Bac Giang, etc. in disease prevention and control, FLC Group continues to donate VND 5 billion to Hanoi in support of the vaccination program of the capital.
FLC Group gave Hanoi VND 5 billion to raise fund for Covid-19 vaccine purchase
On June 19th 2021, at Vietnam – Russia Friendship Cultural Palace, “Hanoi makes joining efforts in fighting against Covid-19 pandemic” event took place under the organization of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee, Hanoi People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The event witnessed the attendance of Mr. Dinh Tien Dung – Politburo Member, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen – Member of Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee; Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee; and many other senior officers.
Considering vaccination as a long-term solution, which is vital in stamping out the epidemic, Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee called for joining efforts from organizations, businesses, individuals and all of Hanoi citizens in support of the vaccination program of the city.
In response, FLC Group donated VND 5 billion to Hanoi’s vaccine fund, following many activities of assisting in Covid-19 prevention and control having been carried out in a drastical manner throughout many cities and provinces since the beginning of 2020.
Joining efforts in all fields
Expressing gratitude to the frontline functional force, the leader of FLC Group indicated that joining efforts to fight against the pandemic is a responsibility and also a commitment that FLC Group has comprehensively carried out in the entirety of its business sectors.
Previously, in the evening of June 19th, FLC Group assisted Bac Giang with 3 Covid-19 diagnosis test systems made in the US that cost nearly VND 9 billion. The Group also donated VND 4 billion to Quang Binh’s vaccine fund; donated VND 3.5 million to Vinh Phu in support of Covid-19 prevention and control fund and buying Covid-19 Real-time PCR device; assisted Quang Ninh with 2 fully-automatic real-time PCR systems; and donated to the Covid-19 prevention and control fund in many other localities such as Hai Duong, Hoa Binh, Bac Lieu, etc.
Since the start of 2020, FLC Group has accompanied with many hot spots on the epidemic and natural disaster to assist in purchasing medical materials, tools and equipment, building houses of gradtitude, giving scholarships, etc. with the total budget being estimated to be more than VND 130 billion.

Aiming for dual targets
Along with financial support, FLC Group has also promptly executed a number of measures in order to maintain business activities, which help to enable economic development while still ensure effective Covid-19 prevention and control in respect to the Government’s target.
Thousands of FLC staff, especially in sectors that involve regular working in close contact with customers (ie. aviation, hotels and resorts, golf) have been rapidly provided with Covid-19 prevention jabs. This contributes to increase the safety of the laborers as well as the community in a significant manner, allowing business activities to remain consistent.
Besides, the Government’s 5K measures have also been strictly followed throughout the entire organization. These include maintaining body temperature check and health declaration; requesting staff to wear mask all the time; improving disinfection; providing hand sanitizer gel/spray in all office buildings and complexes; and adjusting service criteria with the purpose of enhancing disease prevention and control.
In additions, FLC ecosystem has also implemented many policies that support flexible or free cancellation 48-hour prior to check-in time so as to ensure the benefit of customers, especially those in quarantined areas.
In the field of air transport, Bamboo Airways often provides free transport services regarding to medical tools and equipment, as well as donates thousands of return tickets to doctors, nurses and volunteers in order to assist cities and provinces that encounter the pandemic. Within 2020 alone, the Airline had shipped 100 tons of medical goods and essentials for free to hot spots on disasters in Vietnam.
Up to now, Bamboo Airways has served nearly 8,500 passengers, who are foreigners (citizen of Latvia, Czech, UK, Italy, Korea, etc.) and Vietnamese (from Philippines, Kuwait, Qatar, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Australia) returning to their home countries. The Airline had also transported nearly 200 tons of medical goods to the UK, Germany, Czech, etc.
