FLC GROUP DONATES VND 4 BILLION FOR QUANG BINH IN SUPPORT OF COVID-19 PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Following the previous effort in supporting the fight against the pandemic in many cities and provinces all over Vietnam, FLC Group has recently carried on donating VND 4 billion for Quang Binh’s  Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund

On June 3rd 2021, as part of the program that calls for joining effort for Covid-19 prevention and control, Fatherland Front Committees of Quang Binh received nearly VND 11 billion donated by the business community, in that VND 4 billion comes from FLC Group.

With high appreciation for the contribution of the businesses and philanthropists made within the first 24 hours after the program was launched, Mr. Vu Dai Thang – Provincial Secretary of Quang Binh revealed that Quang Binh has not witnessed any community cases up to now.

Yet, this just remains as a maiden result. In the upcoming time, Quang Binh must deal with the pandemic in a more proactive manner by implementing vaccination in order to obtain herd immunity, which is essential to bring life back to normal. The donate funds will continue to be used in support of disease prevention and vaccine purchase.

FLC Group has donated VND 4 billion in cash to assist Quang Binh in Covid-19 prevention and control

Expressing gratitude towards the frontline functional forces and their reckless efforts, the leaders of FLC Group expect that the support from the business community will cast more motivation for the Government, Ministry of Health as well as other related departments and organizations throughout the fight against Covid-19.

In the recent time, FLC Group has accompanied with many cities, provinces and localities in disease and disaster prevention and control activities with the estimated support budget of more than VND 100 billion, accounted from the beginning of 2020.

This budget is designated for purchasing medical equipment, essentials and anti-epidemic materials; assisting provinces in the Central region in flood control; building roads; awarding scholarship and enriching the funds for study promotion as well as the construction of charity houses in many provinces such as Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Ha Giang, Quang Binh, Phu Tho, Binh Dinh, Quang Tri and Ben Tre.

Most recently, FLC Group donated VND 3.5 billion to Fatherland Front Committees of Vinh Phuc with the purpose of assisting the province in testing and building capacity in terms of essentials such as masks, medical equipment and medicine in the coming time. The similar support was also executed by FLC Group in Chi Linh – Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh and many other localities within this fourth wave of the pandemic.

Along with that, the FLC ecosystem has recently been implementing supporting policies that help the customers to fully or flexibly cancel flight tickets and hotel bookings (48-hour prior to check-in time) in order to maintain maximum benefits to them, especially those who are in lockdown and quarantined areas.

Noticeably, in the field of air transport, Bamboo Airways has had many practical programs and activities to make joining effort with the entire country in the recent time.

In Vietnam, the Airline frequently provides free transport for medical tools and equipment, and also sponsors thousands of returned flight tickets for doctors, nurses and volunteers to help many cities and provinces to cope with the pandemic throughout a large number of occasions.

As of now, Bamboo Airways has also transported nearly 8,500 passengers, who are both foreigners (Lithuania, Czech, UK, Italy, Korea…) and returning Vietnamese (from Philippines, Kuwait, Qatar, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Australia), together with nearly 200 tons of medical goods and materials to the UK, Germany, Czech, etc.
